Living Practice, Together with the Natural World

    What is Hickory House?

We are friends living in community, sharing spiritual practice, and enjoying the rich exploration of interdependence with each other and the natural world.

    What do we value?

Life is sacred and meaningful. We care deeply for the wellness of all beings. We are striving to cultivate a healthy orientation to both sovereignty and mutuality.

    Where is Hickory House?

Located in a suburban neighborhood just a short drive from the Greensboro airport, High Point University, and UNCG. It is a spacious 2000 square feet, with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two cats.

    Who Lives at Hickory?

We are practitioners dedicated to connection and mindfulness. The Hickory way of life is inspired by our friends at the Monastic Academy. If you have trained at such a center and are cultivating a daily spiritual practice, you're welcome to reach out about visiting.
